Summer Classes


Here is a list of classes I'll be teaching this summer.  Hope to see you there!

NWA Community College
Art Appreciation: A general introduction to the visual arts. Lectures on art theory and an introduction to art history, plus demonstrations, films, slides, and field trips.

NWA Community Creative Center
Drawing Basics for Kids: This class will explore basic fundamentals of drawing through a series of fun and informative drawing exercises. All supplies provides except a: personal sketch book (9x12)
 July 9-13,  9:00-11:30, Ages 10 and up

Acrylic Painting Basics for Kids: I will work with kids to give basic instruction in the use of acrylics: how to start, organize the image and put on the finishing touches.
 July 16-20, 9-11:30, ages 7-12

Basic Acrylic Painting For Adults: Acrylic paintings can ranges from intense color to light washes. Ease of clean-up and fast drying times make this medium one of the most popular to work with. Sean will work with beginners and intermediates to give basic instruction in the use of acrylics: how to start, organize the image and put on the finishing touches.

Cariacture Class: Learn the art of drawing caricatures in this fun and exciting class.

Introduction Graphic Novel Book Club and Reading: Explore narrative art through hands on projects, presentation, and discussions by Sean FItzgibbon.

ESSA
Narrative Art Drawing: This week long class is designed to give an overview of basic drawing and the narrative art medium. We will work in industry sizes and specs, covering a wide variety of narrative approaches from documentary to slice of life stories. Students will work in a variety of media as well. Set-ups, timing, props, choice of shot, and character development are all emphasized.

 5-Day Workshop (9am-4pm) / Tuition: $275 / Material List will be provided
